Florida City
Florida City, Fl has been dubbed the "Gateway to the Keys" This is a fitting title for a town that has been blessed by proximity, while finding itself short on services for her many resident families that call this gateway home. The City administration is working hard to provide all the services necessary, including good education for all adolescent residents.
Florida City Centre is a three (3) acre development located on West Palm Drive, Florida City, Fl. The land area is comprised of two (2) parcels of nearly equal size. Each is capable of supporting a building of 30,000 square feet, for a total of 60,000 square feet of class A buildings. Each structure shall provide sufficient floor space to accommodate approximately 600 students each.
This facility is one that has been characterized by Florida City as "truly needed." It is in fact the first and only high school in the immediate vicinity. Students have been historically bused many miles to the nearest district school in Homestead Fl. The demand for space is so high and in such short supply, managers of subject facility anticipate reaching capacity during the first academic school year for the first structure completed. The school is on track to be operational by the end of 2010. This commercial development addressing education use has been endowed with the full support of the City Administration.
These new state of the art buildings shall be constructed with the highest quality materials to ensure a long life of performance. Some of the components include: steel reinforced concrete floors and walls throughout; hurricane impact glass and doors; all steel joists and trusses; concrete tile roofs and more. These physical plants shall prove to serve the residents of Florida City for education, assembly and/or storm protection for many years.
